Gourmand, Spicy

FULL DESCRIPTION

This girl is a gift for well-behaved men. The one who bursts into a party and suddenly makes you want to believe in Santa Claus. Half way between a flirtatious temptress and a dancing queen, the temperature rises just by her presence. To hell with “global warming”! She’s here to have fun, no matter what. Heavenly lightness in December... Sweet honey notes at the start lie on a vanilla-tangerine accord and all at once life becomes as captivating as the fullness of her décolleté. It’s soft and warm, notes swirl and dance, and the world starts spinning, like a faceted mirror ball, marvel of all marvels.

In the heart, red pepper mingles with nigella in a detonating cocktail of scents. Hot red lips adorn a lavishly extraverted smile. Breathtaking! The slightly musky, solar accord of the base speaks of the radiant warmness of her skin under her laughing throat. She calls for her after-midnight man, the one who will abduct her under the Xmas tree. And who will jealously sweep her off her feet and into his room, like a child would with his most precious present.

MAIN NOTES

Honey, tangerine, vanilla, cinnamon from Sri Lanka, nigella, red pepper, apricot, patchouli, solar musked accord

Fall and winter in a bottle

I blind bought this perfume and could not be more impressed. It reminds me of a younger, chicer Estée Lauder Cinnabar. This is THE fall and winter fragrance. The staying power and projection is incredible. I sprayed it on a sweater and two days after wearing it, it’s still there. Even at the end of a long day, sleeping with it on, etc — it’s STILL THERE. I wouldn’t say this is one for summer based on the notes, but add this to your collection if you’re a seasonal scent wearer.

Beautiful for newcomers to ELDO and niche fragrances

I'm exploring the world of fragrances for the first time, which made my blind buy of Noel slightly intimidating, but I am very happy that I took the chance. This is a beautiful, cozy fragrance that's perfect for winter days or nights. The opening reminded me of spiced oranges, which dried down to a gentle, spicy musk as the day went on. I think I'd love it on a guy, but it definitely leans unisex (if that kind of thing influences your fragrance buys). I'm not the poet that many reviewers are, but I can say simply and surely that I recommend this buy for anyone in search of a comforting holiday fragrance.

Four stars only because the scent seems very intimate and I prefer a little sillage. Even with five sprays, people in my bubble didn't notice it on me until we hugged. I could, however, smell it on myself after 8+ hours of wear. A shame others can't enjoy it as much as I'm able to!

Absolutely obsessed!

I bought this blind and I have ZERO regrets. The scent is warm, sweet, light... imagine stepping out on a cool winter's night after the first light snow. The air is crisp, the breeze is cool, but not bone-chilling. The cinnamon note smells like a light dusting of cinnamon sugar from a European Christmas market - Trdelník with a cinnamon twist, maybe (specifically European. It's not an overpowering sweetness like one from an American cinnamon sugar). There's a very subtle note that smells a bit like a forest of pine trees way off in the distance, as if the balcony is in the middle of Paris but you can smell the forest just a few km away. Just beautiful!

Christmas Market

I blind bought this and was scared of what I was going to receive. It absolutely holds up to it's name. This smells like a cool, but less than freezing Christmas scent. I don't get the fruity 'apple' note a lot of people reference, but boy is the cinnamon present. This reminds me of a Christmas potpourri you'd smell at a street fair, but extremely elegant. I don't pick up on the honey in a sweet sense, but it is a very rich scent. As it dries down, a powdery note comes through but as a powdery perfume hater, I even find that enjoyable. I wouldn't call this a particularly feminine fragrance but I (female) do not feel the slightest bit masculine wearing it. Makes me think of visiting an upscale hotel, that's decked out in holiday decor, being dressed in your holiday evening wear, and on the hunt for some mulled wine. Perhaps a big loud for summer, but I cannot wait until winter to keep this in constant rotation.

Perfect Gift for Mother's Day!

I fell in love w/ the sample I rec'd a long time ago, as it instantly reminded me of my mom, and I just knew she'd love it. She does, and now makes 1 spritz part of her daily routine because it makes her feel so loved and special. Smells like being surrounded by really expensive fabric and love.
